Invitation to Helvetas' Event on Climate Change and Migration

We are pleased to invite you to an insightful discussion organized in conjunction with the 14th Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD), on Monday 22 January 2024 at La Pastorale Auditorium in Geneva

This event will delve into the complex issue of climate-linked migration, shifting the focus to a deeper and more systemic approach to identify practical measures contributing to inclusive and sustainable development and well-being.

A diversified panel of actors, including academics specialized in climate and migration as well as government, foundation and NGO representatives, will unpack prevailing narratives and foster a deeper, evidence-based understanding of the critical nexus of climate change and migration.

The event will conclude with an aperitif, during which participants will have the opportunity to network and engage in further discussions.

Admission is free. You can register via the online form below.
