Rebecca Vermot is responsible for Helvetas' Partnership magazine and annual report, among other things, and crafts stories about the impact of our global work. Before joining Helvetas in 2018, she worked as a journalist for the Swiss news agency SDA, swissinfo.ch (which at the time provided news to Swiss expatriates alongside Swiss Radio International), and the development policy magazine Weltsichten. As the project manager of “1,000 Women for the Nobel Peace Prize 2005,” she collected the names and stories of women peace activists worldwide. She studied political science in Konstanz and Bern and obtained a degree in journalism in Fribourg.
