Mauricio Negas is Project Coordinator at HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in Mozambique and is specialized on the Promotion of Sustainable Farming Systems and Food Loss and Waste Reduction. He has over 15 years of experience in the leadership of private sector and rural development, in the project cycle management, complemented by experience in government and civil society.

Mauricio holds a Master's of local and Regional Economic Development from Catholic University - Mozambique and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Honours in Economics, Extension Education and Rural Sociology, from Punjab Agricultural University – Ludhiana, in India.
