Our Team
Helvetas in Kosovo is part of Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, a global organization working in development cooperation for many years. Since 2001, our team has been present in Kosovo, working closely with partners to support better governance, stronger local economies, and a more sustainable future.
Our work is driven by a country-based team that combines technical expertise with local knowledge and long-standing relationships. We work in close connection with regional and global teams, which helps us stay aligned with wider approaches while keeping our work grounded in the local context.
Our structure connects three levels:

Head Office (Switzerland) - Sets overall direction for the organization and defines common standards and approaches.

Regional Support Team (Eastern Europe) - Provides technical support, shares expertise across countries, and helps ensure quality and consistency in our work.

Helvetas in Kosovo (Country Team) - Our team in Kosovo designs and implements projects on the ground together with institutions, civil society, and private sector partners. We focus on making sure our work fits the local context and supports solutions that can last beyond project cycles.
Regional team
Our regional experts are based in Switzerland and across Eastern Europe, anchored by our Belgrade office. From here, they provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and administrative support - all while facilitating cross-border knowledge sharing and innovation.
Country Managers
Our Country Managers are the faces of Helvetas in their respective countries. They lead national branches, adapt our vision to local contexts, manage partnerships, and ensure that our programs deliver tangible benefits for communities.
