The Greening Private Enterprises in Kosovo (GPEK) project supports Kosovo’s private sector in adopting environmentally sustainable and resource-efficient practices, contributing to the country’s green transition and economic resilience. The project works with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to reduce environmental impact, improve energy and resource efficiency, and align business practices with emerging environmental standards and market requirements.
GPEK is a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), co-funded by Sweden and implemented by Helvetas.
Challenge Fund
The GPEK Challenge Fund helps SMEs in Kosovo test and implement green investments that improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and strengthen competitiveness. By sharing investment risks, the Fund enables businesses to move from ideas to real implementation and generate proven business cases.
