Besa Ilazi Kastrati
Besa Ilazi Kastrati is an economist and development professional with over 20 years of experience in private sector development, economic growth, innovation, and sustainable development across Kosovo and the Western Balkans. Since March 2026, she has served as SME Innovation Lead for the Greening Private Enterprises in Kosovo (GPEK) project at HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, leading initiatives that strengthen the green innovation ecosystem and support SMEs in adopting sustainable, market-driven solutions. Previously, she held senior positions with USAID and UNDP, managing donor-funded programs focused on economic development, investment promotion, workforce development, and governance. She holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Economics.
