Laurent Wehrli was elected to the Swiss Parliament in 2015 as a member of the FDP party. From 2002 to 2015, he was a member of the Upper Council of the Canton of Waadt, which he chaired in 2013-2014. Wehrli was mayor of Montreux, owns and directs a trust company, and he works on various international projects.
