On 20 August 2026, a modern hydrological monitoring station equipped with a flow meter was installed on an irrigation canal of the Boboeva Water Users Association in Spitamen District. Powered by solar energy and providing real-time monitoring, the system improves water accounting, transparency, and efficient irrigation water management under the National Water Resources Management Project (NWRM).
This support represents an important contribution to strengthening the institutional capacity of HELVETAS’ national partners and contributes to achieving the overall goal of effective groundwater management in Tajikistan for the benefit of present and future generations
