Snezana Mišić

Snežana Mišić Mihajlović is the Governance Portfolio Manager for Eastern Europe, where she leads a diverse portfolio of governance projects and initiatives. In this role, she supports project teams in delivering impactful results while fostering accountability, learning, and collaboration among partner institutions and stakeholders. With over two decades of experience in international development, Snežana brings deep expertise in the design and management of development projects, evaluation of programs and public policies, and provision of thematic guidance to leading international organizations and donors, including SDC, SECO, SIDA, USAID, GIZ, and UNDP. Her professional journey began with a curiosity about how governance systems shape everyday life and a commitment to making these systems more inclusive, responsive, and citizen-centered. This guiding principle continues to inform her work and leadership approach. 

Snežana holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences and Policy from the Central European University. She is an alumna of the Fellowship Programme in Social Science Research and Programme Evaluation delivered by The Evaluators’ Institute, Claremont Graduate University (USA) and the SEE Regional fellowship policy programme on Citizen Participation in Public Decision-Making with the Local Government and Public Service Reform Initiative (Hungary).
