With the support of Helvetas, children in Ukraine can attend school, despite the constant danger of attacks by the Russian army. This makes everyday life easier for children and parents during the war.
In a city where bombs dominate everyday life, Ophelia and Andrej found a way to start again. Their kitchen project impressed Helvetas’ staff member Pablo Lo Moro, who saw during his visit to Kharkiv how the couple embodies resilience and hope in difficult times.
