Maya Wolfensberger, MSc, MAS

Maya Wolfensberger holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development both from ETH Zurich. From 2007 until 2017, she worked as an environmental consultant in the field of climate change and sustainable resources management in Switzerland, with several short and long-term assignments in Latin America. In 2017 she joined Helvetas where she advises Helvetas projects with a focus on low carbon development and Climate Finance. She is also responsible for the organization-wide decarbonization strategy and advises projects in the implementation of landscape approaches, supporting private sector partners in meeting their zero deforestation and net-zero targets in agricultural value chains.
