About 30 participants—particularly members of the Community Management Councils (COGECO) and Natural Resources Management Councils (CGRN), representatives of the Niassa Provincial Government, and implementing partners—gathered on April 16th, for a workshop to document lessons learned from the MozNorte – Chipanje Chetu Community Governance Project, funded by the World Bank through the Biodiversity Conservation Foundation (Biofund).

The event, held in Lichinga, Niassa Province, was positively evaluated by participants, who nevertheless expressed regret over the lack of further opportunities to hold similar meetings, due to the project’s closure after approximately two years of implementation.
