More than 60 artisan -trainers in Nampula, Niassa, and Cabo Delgado provinces were trained in September of the current year in associativism and psychopedagogy ( 2 days per topic), in order to enhance knowledge and information sharing among them, broaden their networking, and improve the training process for young apprentices.
The training, which benefited artisans from the districts of Cuamba and Lichinga (Niassa), Ilha de Moçambique, Nacala-porto and Mogovolas (Nampula), and Montepuez and Balama (Cabo Delgado), is part of the SIM! (Skills for Youth in Mozambique) project, funded by the Swiss Embassy and implemented by Helvetas Mozambique.
Currently, the SIM! project is working in collaboration with 222 artisan-trainers (161 of whom are women) and 15 artisan associations, including 4 in Niassa, 9 in Nampula, and 2 in Cabo Delgado.
