Regional exchange tour for representatives of the tourism sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan
From October 13 to 17, 2025, within the framework of the Swiss projects VET4UZ and "Sustainable Development of Winter Tourism," representatives of the tourism sector of Uzbekistan will study the experience of Kyrgyzstan in the field of sustainable tourism
Today, October 14, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Kyrgyz Association of Tourism Organizations and the Hoteliers Association of Uzbekistan — a new step toward stronger regional collaboration.
As noted by Mr. Erdenet Kasymov, Director of the Tourism Department under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyzstan remains open to cooperation, investment, and joint ideas.
“I believe that our meeting and dialogue will strengthen the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and mark a new stage in the development of tourism across Central Asia,” he emphasized.
As a regional organization, Helvetas strongly supports cooperation in Central Asia through knowledge exchange, partnership building, and joint promotion of sustainable development.
