The project aims at introducing modern irrigation technologies and promoting the sustainable use of water resources in agriculture. It will be implemented across the districts of Nookat, Kara-Suu, and Ozgon in Osh region, and Batken region of Kyrgyzstan as well as in Sugd region of Tajikistan.

The Ferghana Valley Irrigation Partnerships Project (FVIPP) aims to accelerate the adoption of efficient irrigation technologies in water-constrained agricultural areas of southern Kyrgyzstan and northern Tajikistan. Through six inclusive trade fairs, the project will connect 900 farmers with private irrigation suppliers and financial institutions, enabling at least 18 direct installations of modern irrigation systems and providing models for an estimated 180 additional households. The fairs will also support 20 irrigation-related businesses and introduce farmers to financing options, including loans for system installation.
