Martin Koppa

Martin Koppa joined Helvetas as Director of the German branch in September 2018, after several years working as Head of Acquisitions with a Swiss Foundation in Zurich. Before changing to the Non-Profit Sector, Martin has gained experience with a private German development consulting company, where he managed for almost a decade mainly EU funded projects in the area of Governance & Private Sector Development. He studied Development Sociology at the University of Bielefeld (GER) and Santiago de Chile, and later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma from the German Development Institute in Bonn as well as a Master's degree in Public Economics from the University of Speyer, Germany.
