Consultancy on Developing Technical Wood Knowledge E-library

Helvetas is a non-governmental organization, founded in Switzerland in 1955, and supported by more than 100,000 members and sponsors as well as 12 regional volunteer groups. Helvetas has been operating in Vietnam since 1994 in the sectors of Agriculture, Forestry, Governance and Peace, Water and Sanitation, and Rural Development. Today, Helvetas Vietnam’s programs focus on Sustainable and Inclusive Economies; specific interfaces with Climate Change and Vocational Skills Development are considered and further deepened.

HELVETAS is a co-implementing partner with SwissContact to implement the Swiss Import and Export Program(SIPPO). Out of the 11 countries globally, the component in Vietnam will strengthen the capacities of business support organizations (BSOs), industry associations, trade promotion agencies, and other institutions responsible for trade promotion activities. The programme aims to enable BSOs in Vietnam to provide effective and sustainable trade promotion services.

The first two phases of the project (2016-2021 and 2021-2025) have been completed. SIPPO has now entered its third and final phase (2026-2028). In addition to its continued support for the Technical Wood (TW), Natural Ingredients (NI), and Processed Food (PF) sectors, SIPPO is broadening its interventions to foster a stronger export ecosystem for these industries. Particular emphasis is placed on sustainability, digital transformation, and the application of information technology in trade promotion activities.

Helvetas Vietnam is seeking a local consultancy to develop a Technical Wood knowledge platform/E-library.
