Christina Aebischer, MA

Christina holds a MA in Geography, a CAS in development studies and a DAS in Evaluation. Since 2022 Christina is advisor for climate adaptation and advocacy at Helvetas and supports institution-wide capacity building for disaster and climate resilience mainstreaming and support to Helvetas advocacy work and networking.
Her international career started in 2000 in ICRC when she was deployed as delegate in Angola and Colombia, followed by responsibilities in several NGOs as program coordinator for Peru, Colombia, Honduras, El Salvador, Tanzania and Myanmar. Besides her thematic expertise in resilience, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, she also worked as advisor for monitoring, evaluation and learning.
