Follow-up event to the Ukraine Recovery Conference

The systemic recovery of Ukraine requires a comprehensive approach – and this is exactly what Helvetas does.

This summer, the largest conference dedicated to Ukraine's recovery took place in Italy. It brought together over 7,000 participants.  

We have now become partners of the follow-up event to the Ukraine Recovery Conference, organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of Helvetas and Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.  

Here, together with businesses and government bodies, we discussed opportunities to support business in Ukraine.  

Currently, Helvetas in Ukraine is:  

• Implementing a sustainable support model for state institutions. As a result, over 500 civil servants are currently undergoing training to improve the labor market at the local level.  
• Developing business through digital tools – in partnership with Diia.Business and Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office (Ukraine), we have created a dashboard and catalog for export promotion, and a digital solutions Marketplace for businesses.  
• Working in the field of human capital by developing skills – provided expert support in developing the draft Law «About Vocational Education» and took part in the working group.
