Helvetas’ intervention focus on maximizing the development benefits of migration. It supports and contributes to the protection of the rights of migrant women and men as well as their families. Helvetas strengthens institutions and works at the interface between governments, migrants and their families, as well as migrant representatives/associations in the place of origin and destination. Helvetas further adds an emphasis on integrating a migration-lens into other development sectors.
