COP22 Side Event: Scaling up water and agriculture climate sensitive investments in mountain regions

While climate finance has slowly started to flow, public investments in the water and agriculture sectors need to better integrate climate risk strategies and decision making tools at different stages of the project cycle and levels of governance.

The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, the Food and Agriculture Organization and the Mountain Partnership invite you to a lively discussion about practical experiences, tools and policy for scaling up climate sensitive investments in mountain regions.The discussion will draw on concrete mainstreaming experiences of the Swiss Development Cooperation and HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in Bolivia, and insight on the topic from multilateral agencies, the Mountain Partnership and the Third World Network.
