Géraldine Savary was elected to the Swiss Parliament in 2004 as a member of the Socialdemocratic Party. In 2007, she became the member of the Swiss Council of States for the Waadt Canton. Savary is a member of several parliamentary commissions, including the Audit Commission and the Security Commission. In 2018, she became Vice-President of the Swiss Council of States. Savary is committed to strengthening the Swiss government’s cooperation and development work.
