INVITATION FOR SEALED BID

(REAP II is co-financed by Helvetas, SOLIDAR Switzerland and Swiss Solidarity) Invitation for Bids for Procurement of construction materials for Rehabilitation of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Schemes

Bids are invited from the interested competent suppliers/vendors registered in Government of Nepal for the supply and delivery of following construction materials for rehabilitation of drinking water supply and sanitation schemes with fulfilling the eligibility requirements.

Description of Works : Construction materials (HDPE Pipe, GI Pipe & Fittings, Cement, Rebar, Tools etc.) for drinking water supply and sanitation schemes at Melamchi municipality and Helambu rural municipality

Estimated Cost : NRs. 13,071,879.41

Eligibility of Supplier (Firm)

  • The bidder must have experience under supply of goods for at least five (5) years prior to the applications submission deadline with fulfilling the requirements.
  • The bidder must have completed supply and delivery of construction material for minimum three (3) drinking water supply projects in Nepal.

Eligible suppliers interested in bid shall submit notary certified copy of firm registration, latest tax clearance certificate, VAT/ PAN certificates and self declaration letter of not being ineligible upto the bid submission date along with bid document. 

Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and bidding documents at the office of Purchaser as indicated in section (6) below.

All bids must be submitted on or before 12:00 hours, 21st January 2019. Documents shall not be received after this deadline. The signed hard copy of bids/offers has to be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to:

Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hours on 21st January 2019 at the office as indicated in section (6) above. 
Bids must be valid for a period of 45 days (from 21st January to 6th March 2019) after the bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to 2.5 % of the quoted Bid amount (inclusive of VAT), which shall be valid for 90 days i.e. from 21st January to 20th April 2019.
If the last date of submission and opening falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.
This office reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all bids without assigning any reasons, whatsoever.
