MoU signing ceremony between Department of Rural Development and HELVETAS Myanmar
We are proud to announce the signing of our latest Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Rural Development of the Ministry for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and HELVETAS Myanmar.
With the title of “Phwint Phyo Padaythar”, Department of Rural Development has signed a MoU with HELVETAS Myanmar for the mutual benefits based on a shared vision to collaborate in the development activities of Myanmar. The MoU was signed by U Khant Zaw, Director General of Department of Rural Development and Mr. Peter Schmidt, Country Director of HELVETAS Myanmar, in Naypyitaw on 13th of June 2018. “Phwint Phyo Padaythar” stands for “sustainable and growing development”. The collaboration is a continuation of a previous MoU and builds on the complementary strengths, experiences, networks and resources of the two signatories. The MoU covers activities in eight regions and states in a period of four years.
