Zora Urech
Zora Urech brings expertise in participatory forest management, biodiversity conservation, agroforestry, and poverty alleviation. She has significant experience in applying livelihood and landscape approaches, research management, project evaluation, and establishing platforms and networks to foster collaboration between science and development practice. She holds an MSc in Forest Sciences and a PhD, both from ETH Zurich, based on extended fieldwork in Madagascar. Before joining Helvetas in 2014 Zora worked eight years in development-oriented research as a researcher and program manager.
