Le 30 novembre 2005 Helvetas et l’Institut de recherche de l’agriculture biologique (FiBL) ont réalisé conjointement un colloque sur le coton bio. Des divers porte-paroles ont présenté l'histoire du succès des projets coton bio suisses et ont discuté les expériences gagnées pendant la création et la géstion d'une chaine intégrée de valeur ajoutée.
